Bakuchiol Peptides is a light serum with gentle bakuchiol, a great alternative to vitamin A. It reduces fine lines and wrinkles, gives the skin a radiant look and soothes sensitive skin. The serum is photostable and can be used both at night and during the day. It deeply soothes the skin and restores its firmness and softness. Ideal for people with sensitive skin and people with vitamin A intolerance – for example pregnant women.
Indications:
- skin that has lost its luster
- sensitive skin
- wrinkles
Main components:
- Bakuchiol is a plant substance that is gaining more and more popularity in cosmetics as a natural alternative to vitamin A (retinol). It has many desirable properties for the skin such as:
- Brightening Peptide Precursors – These are ingredients that help stimulate the production of collagen and elastin in the skin. They have brightening effects and improve skin radiance, reduce discoloration and unevenness. Additionally, brightening peptide precursors can also help smooth fine lines and wrinkles.
- Asian umbilical cord extract – This is a plant component with soothing and regenerating properties for the skin. It has anti-inflammatory properties and speeds up the skin’s healing process. Navel Asiatic Extract can help soothe skin irritation, reduce redness and improve overall skin condition.
- Inka oil – also known as Sacha Inchi seed oil, is rich in nutrients such as omega-3 fatty acids, omega-6 and vitamin E. This oil perfectly hydrates the skin, prevents moisture loss and nourishes it. In addition, inka oil can also support the regeneration of the skin, maintaining its elasticity and radiant appearance.
Bakuchiol and pregnancy:
It has not yet been established that topical use of vitamin A can endanger pregnancy or cause problems during breastfeeding, due to the minimal absorption of the vitamin by the body. However, we recommend avoiding the use of vitamin A due to the potential risks associated with high doses.
Bakuchiol has similar effects to retinol, but works on completely different principles. There is no evidence to suggest that bakuchiol may pose a danger during pregnancy. Therefore, we recommend using this product safely.
Many experts and doctors believe that the use of bakuchiol during pregnancy is completely safe. However, the lack of testing of most cosmetics on pregnant women makes it impossible to unequivocally label the product as “safe in pregnancy”. That’s why we avoid this expression.
Usage:
After washing your skin in the morning and evening, gently tap 6 drops of the serum on the face, neck and décolleté. Let it absorb. Avoid contact with eyes. If the product gets into your eyes, rinse them thoroughly with water. Discontinue use if eye irritation occurs. If irritation persists, consult a doctor. Use as directed, on intact skin only.
